I’m not one to bash products. Of course I give honest reviews, but outside of that if I don’t like it, I just don’t talk about it. On the other hand, I think what beauty products I don’t use can be just as insightful as what I love, so today I rounded up the products that have no place in my makeup, skincare, or haircare routine.
I’m nearly too tired to function and it’s only Tuesday. It was a busy weekend moving into my new place, but it all went well. Combined with coursework and not enough sleep, I’m feeling a little exhausted. You know what I always have enough energy for though? Shopping.
Up until this point I’ve featured what I deem to be fairly affordable products, but today I’m breaking the routine. We’re talking green beauty luxury, specifically the Triesta Organics moisturizing haircare collection that retails for $110. Quality natural, cruelty free and vegan beauty products are usually a bit more expensive, but this is a new level. A few months ago they ran a promotion to get the whole set for just $15, so I had to try it.
Should you invest in your haircare? Let’s find out.

We don’t often talk about hair here, but I thought it was time I shared how I wash mine about once a week and maintain my look with minimal effort.
Are we making breakfast or beauty products? The picture looks like it could go either way, but I’m sharing five simple beauty DIYs that really work. I know because I’ve used them for years. The ingredients are vegan, nontoxic and probably in your cupboard already. We have something for the face, body and hair. Enjoy!
Hey, again! I feel like I’ve been blogging like crazy this week, but really it’s only been one extra post and video. If you missed it, it was a chatty GRWM on my everyday glowy makeup. Keeping with the casual and beauty themes, today I wanted to share a few things that I’m coveting. Some essentials. Some just pretty. All vegan and cruelty free.
Yes, you read that right. I’m reviewing eight different products from Shea Moisture. I’ve tried quite a few products from the brand (not all pictured), so I wanted to let you know what’s good! We have shampoos, conditioners, body washes, soaps and lip balm to get through, so let’s go.
