It’s been a minute since we had a beauty product review, so I’m here today with not one, but four! I hope it makes up for no video this week. If you missed last week’s, you can watch it here. Let’s get on with the reviews!
Guys, I was so excited to finally have another DIY post. I attempted to make a simple cotton triangle bra because I’m in desperate need and couldn’t find an affordable ethically made option. I even teased it on my Instagram stories and was diligently working away, buuut it ended up being a complete and utter failure. My inability to find or make bras that fit led me to break my ethical shopping rules.
Boobs are complicated.
I don’t often talk about college, but the fall semester is nearly upon us. How? If summer wants to stay, I’d be cool with that, but the reality is it’s back to school, which may mean a bit of shopping. I thought I’d put together some ethically and sustainably produced, vegan and chic products for college/university students.
Sometime in July was my one year vegan anniversary. Hooray! Of course, it wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t share my thoughts on the last year with you. Also, for this week’s video, I decided to talk about ten weird things that happened when I went vegan. It’s a very vegan day.
Are we making breakfast or beauty products? The picture looks like it could go either way, but I’m sharing five simple beauty DIYs that really work. I know because I’ve used them for years. The ingredients are vegan, nontoxic and probably in your cupboard already. We have something for the face, body and hair. Enjoy!
Oh, Instagram. Perfect, facetuned, fake Instagram… It’s fun, but my curated profile doesn’t show the whole truth. It’s time to go through my camera roll and share photos that I would post if my Instagram account was about my real life.
It’s been a while since I did a favorites post. I intended to make them a monthly series, but it turns out I just don’t have new things to share that often. Creature of habit- exposed! Despite July being gone in a flash, I tried some new things and rediscovered old loves.
It’s nighttime, I’m exhausted and all I want to do is collapse in bed, but I always drag myself to the bathroom and do my evening skincare. Over the past few months, I’ve really nailed down my routine. Usually I bounce around trying fair few products, but lately I’ve been sticking to just a few. All of these products work well for my dry acne prone and sensitive skin and they’re affordable.
I love knowing what people really eat, so naturally if there’s a What I Eat in a Day video or blog post, I’m there. Today, the tables have turned and I’m sharing. It’s difficult to capture what a usual day of food is for me, so there will definitely be more of these in the future. I eat whatever I feel like (within reason) and on this particular day, I was craving cooked hearty food. Regardless of cravings, it’s all vegan and free of oil and refined sugar. Oh and lazy person friendly.
It’s hot. Time to hit the beach, jump in the lake, grab your surfboard and float in a pool. You’re going to need swimwear that’s ethically made, vegan, sustainable, and fabulous, of course. I can help.
